Last Known Location: On 01/11/1963, Northampton County Sheriff's Office responded to the area of NC 35 and Ashe Street in Woodland, NC in reference to a missing juvenile. It was reported that five (5) year old Phyllis Lorrain Powell (DOB: 8/10/1957) was outside playing near her home on Ashe St. in Woodland, NC and was last seen around noon on 01/11/1963. At the time, Phyllis Powell was described as a black female juvenile, approximately 44" tall, with brown eyes and black hair. The photographs are sketches done by Diana TrepKov (Artist from Canada) of brother, William Buddy Powell, and sister, Joyce Powell Parker, recollection of what Phyllis Powell looked like the last time they saw her and what Phyllis Powell would look like through age progression.

Last Known Location: Thacker Lane Garysburg, NC. On 10/18/2012, Northampton County Sheriff's Office responded to the area of Anne Trail in Garysburg, NC in reference to a missing person. Lola Robinson reported her thirty-nine (39) year old son, Shawn Cornelius Alston, missing. Shawn Alston was last seen on 10/18/2012 at around 23:30 HRS walking on Warner Bridge Rd in Garysburg, NC. At the time, a bolo was issued and Shawn Alston was described as a black male, standing 5'7" tall, 190-210 lbs, wearing khaki cargo shorts, black shirt and shoes. His skin complexion is brown skin, big eyes (brown) from thyroid issues, short hair with an afro cut and suffers from asthma. 

Missing Persons As Of: 10/18/2012

Last Known Location: At his residence outside of Rich Square, NC. On June 16, 2011 a fire was discovered at Daniel Moses' residence. Moses was not in the residence at the time of the fire and has been missing since. The circumstances of his disappearance and Moses' banking activity suggest he is the victim of a homicide. The Northampton County Sheriff's Office along with the NCSBI have conducted an extensive investigation. NC Governors Office is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the disappearance of Daniel McCoy Moses. The family of Daniel Moses is also offering $10,000 for any information leading to his whereabouts an arrest anyone responsible for this crime. Total reward = $15,000. Anyone with information regarding this case for the whereabouts of Daniel Moses are encouraged to submit information through Northampton County Crime Stoppers.
